B.Sc. Physics (Vocational)
It is a job oriented semester course with specialization in Applied Electronics. In the
present scenario with increased emphasis on Electronics and also with all the scope
and benefits of pure Physics, the course includes the whole syllabi of conventional
B. Sc. Physics together with advanced topics in Electronics. So the students can
pursue their higher studies in M.Sc. Physics,M.Sc. Electronics, Applied Electronics,
Computer Science, M.C.A., B.Ed, etc. These students are eligible to study all the
courses for which conventional Physics student can do.In this course the students
are given on the job trainingin modern electronic equipments professionals in order
to equip them for employment in the electronics field. The graduates ofApplied
Electronics can find suitable and attractive placement in various electrical and
electronics industries.

Eligibility: - Pass in + two or equivalent.

It is a six-semester programme with specialization in Polymer Chemistry. The syllabus
includes topics inIndustrial Chemistry, in addition to all the topics covered in
conventional Chemistry. The course structure consists of in-plant training in various
industries like TCC, FACT,HIL,Apollo Tyres, IRE, Binani Zinc, and Industrial Estate
Changanassery. The department maintains excellent academic records. The B.Sc.fVoc.)
Chemistry students can pursue B.Ed, and all the P.G. courses for which conventional
Chemistry students are eligible.
